Steven Bernardus Harageib is a renowned leader in the development field with a track record of impressive achievements. He is an Atlantic Council Millennium Leader (2021/2022), a Trust Conference Change Maker (2019), and a Mandela Washington Fellow (2016), among other accolades. As a guest lecturer at the University of Namibia, University of Freiburg's School of Social Work, he has shared his expertise and insights on inclusive development discussions, making a significant impact in the field. He was also recognized as a Healer Category by The Young Independents in 2019, highlighting his commitment to promoting mental health and wellbeing in the community.

As an Apolitical Public Service Fellow, he embodies the spirit of public service and the need to build bridges for inclusive development. His advocacy for youth, mental health, and gender-based violence in the development agenda has earned him a platform to speak on various international forums such as the UN High-Level Meeting on AIDS and the One Young World Ambassador (2015). Steven's work on "Revitalising African Traditional Justice Mechanisms: Our Heritage for the Africa We Want" is an excellent example of his dedication to the continent's growth and development. His focus on creating safe spaces for transformative change has created opportunities for many young people, demonstrating the impact of perseverance and dedication to a cause.
